A clear portrait gives the generation a better identity reference. Use a separate photo for each person and keep the face easy to see. AI output can still vary; a good input is not a guarantee of an exact likeness.
Before you choose a file
- Choose one adult per photo, with their permission to appear.
- Prefer a front facing view with even light across the face.
- Keep the face and shoulders in the frame.
- Avoid sunglasses, face coverings, heavy filters and strong shadows.
- Avoid group photos and very small faces in a wide scene.
You do not need to include a microphone or saxophone in the input photo. The upload positions determine the roles.
File requirements
The studio accepts JPG, PNG and WebP. Each file must be 3 MB or smaller, with at least 340 pixels on each side. Extremely wide or tall images are rejected; keep the longer side no more than 2.5 times the shorter side.
The browser prepares an accepted image for upload. If you see a photo error, check the format, size and dimensions, then choose the file again. Renaming a file extension does not convert its format.
One to five portraits
Fill the lead singer slot first. Add a separate portrait to any optional front mic, back-left vocals, back-right vocals or sax slot. Left and right are from the viewer’s perspective.
Each photo stays bound to its labelled role, even if you skip other slots. You can replace any photo or remove any optional portrait without clearing the lead or shifting the remaining cast. Review the role list before submitting.
Optional close-ups
After adding a main portrait, you can add a close-up of the same adult for that role. Keep the face and hair clearly visible. The main photo still guides build and clothing. Both photos follow the same consent and privacy rules. Removing or replacing the main portrait clears its close-up so it cannot be assigned to a different person by mistake.
Privacy while you prepare
A signed in cast draft is stored in this browser for up to 24 hours. It is separated by account and is not a shared photo gallery. Use Clear draft to remove it from this browser when finished.
Before submitting, make sure everyone shown has agreed to the use. See the privacy notice for photo processing, retention and deletion requests.
